Do we get issued BCGs on the day of improcessing?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you do

Are contacts allowed at BCT or the academy or do you have to use glasses instead?

(and what are BCG's?)

birth control glasses... because you can't get layed in them

a lot of people won't and will wear their civi glasses for a while until their prescription can get processed... luck of the draw I guess

gglock: You can't wear contacts during BCT because some parts of it take place in dusty areas and would increase your chances of getting an eye infection.

No contacts during BCT.

During the academic year?

usafa21astr: You can wear them during the academic year.

You may not get them on Improcessing Day, you will only if you wrote on your application that you used glasses. If you didn't say that you use glasses, and they determine from your eye test that you need them, they will come to you a few weeks later in Basic. You don't HAVE to wear them though, unless you have mean cadre that make you. I got some but I didn't wear them...

hehe, I'll look like Steve Urkel in BDUs O_O!! lol! Well, it's all cool.
