Go Bruins!!!! UCLA!!!!

Yeah..how do you like the fact I'm going to berkeley..ranked #20 and you're at Georgetown..ranked #23?
How do you like that I was accepted at UChicago and Rice last Friday, both of which are ranked #15 and #17 respectively... in comparison to UCB?

Oh, and btw, Mass Comm at Cal is also a highly impacted major..
Okay... so since more people apply to it, that must mean it is a serious major...

For a guy attending a "top #20" school, you sure are an idiot.

Technically, you aren't in mass comm yet tallkell, just Letters & Science.

btw..i'm a super hot girl..not a guy

Yes, a true quidnunc.

ok gabe..you're right, I have to be officially accepted into the major..however, I have already finnished all the prereqs with a 4.0, so I don't think it will be a problem...

but good try

Not that rankings matter.

Anyone who thinks there is a significant academic difference between a #20 school and a #24 school requires a lambasting.

"Yes, a true quidnunc."

Obviously, I'm a comm major..

So tallkell, according to your reasoning (If you goto a higher ranked school, you are smarter), how does it feel to know that 124,595 people going to school right now are smarter than you? If I were you, I would be pretty damn depressed.

I never said there was a significant difference..I simply said Berkeley is ranked higher..that's all..

don't be so senstive..

obviously berkeley thinks i'm smart..I was part of the less than 20% transfer admits..

Look at you guys...SUCH HATERS!! I LOVE IT!!

This thread has gone in a really ridiculous direction.

"Ummm, wow. As if getting into a school is a direct measure of your intelligence.. hahaha.."

Actually, that's exactly what it is..

Anyway..I'm sorry to say I have to go now..it's Cinco De Mio and I need to do some shots of Patron..later B*****S!!

Wow, what a gloatful bast***.

And I disagree that attending UCLA or UCB means that you are a smart person. Your lower division is not even rigorous, just a few introductory courses (I checked UCLA's comm. studies on assist.org).

"Cal doesnt really have awesome athletes, they had like kyle boller who sucks, and aaron rodgers who sucks."

Hey mj23, you forgot to give props to Jason Kidd :D

got me on that one man, he's pretty good, but you know what im sayin....;)

Oh... tallkell, you sound very very arrogant and you are just looking down on many members here...

tallkell, we know that you get into UCB but you don't have to show off with your communication (impacted major) or whatever that is, we also know that you get into UCLA as well. I want to congratulate you and even admire you but after reading some of your posts, I even wonder why UCLA or UCB would accept someone with this ignorant and arrogant attitude! By the way, communication major is way easier than any science related majors! Go take a physics class to see it yourself!

Tallkell, also note that I got in UCLA, UCB (UCB math is #1 in the nation, UCB communication isn't #1 in the nation) and USC as well! If you wanna compare, I beat you by one school! I don't think you have USC Therefore, as you mentioned earlier (As if getting into a school is a direct measure of your intelligence), so i'm smarter than you! ahahahaha whatever, do you see how bad it is to show off now? I just showed off, it is bad of course!... SO don't show off! No one even cares!

tallkell,

Thank you for ruining this beautiful thread.

This is ridiculous. Whats to be gained by bashing someone's major and/or school?

you spelled cinco de mayo wrong ...i thought you were supposed to be smart tallkell?

Cal and Stanford's rivalry is because these schools are in the Bay Area. USC and UCLA are rivals because they're in LA. It's about proximity.
