For the longest time, I have had no idea what I wanted to do. I’m now into quarter 2 of my junior year, and after visiting a few schools, I realized I probably would like to pursue a path to become a vet, ideally starting at CALS. Is majoring in animal science the way to go? And how hard is CALS acceptance?
Right now I am taking all IB courses (Math SL, Bio, Lang and Lit, French, and HOTA), with Orchestra, Chorus, Drawing and Painting, and Math Research on top of that. I have 100s in my four “electives”, and 90-96 in the rest of my classes. I’m taking the December 1st SAT. I should be able to maintain my grades if not increase them for the rest of the year. I also am in the NHS, and I’m an officer for the music honors society. I do 3 hours of dance a week, and I work on the school’s theater productions, whether it be singing/acting or doing crew. Should I have a decent chance at getting in if I do early decision next year? I know I’m kind of early in the game, but I want to know what I should be shooting for.
