I know that you apply to Goizueta Business School after two years of undergrad and meeting the prereqs, but is there a certain major you're suppose to have? Let's say you major in poli sci the first two years and then get into Goizueta, do you drop your poli sci major to get the business admin major?

You don't have a to declare a major until the end of your sophomore year. Students just don't declare anything until they see whether or not they are accepted into the B school.

can u double major in marketing and finance? is it a lot harder then doing just one? and how much extra work is a minor?

there aren't majors in the business school. it's more of an area of study that you complete. you receive the bba no matter white area you specialize within. it is sometimes possible to concentrate within 2 areas, but that depends on which you choose.

to then also minor in the college is possible, but difficult. id imagine that it would be something that you would have to decide very early on. a lot of your GERs would also have to count for your minor, which could be hard depending on the minor that you choose and which classes are offered. if you planned it out well in advance, i think it's possible. you might have to take some summer school though.

for reference sake, the bba requires 138 total credit hours, 64 of which are completed in the college. a minor is about 20-24 hours depending on the department. there are also 20 hours of prerequisites in the bschool that you have to take before admission.

there are about 60 hours of GERs not including writing requirements. so, as you can see, you have to double dip somewhere. A lot of the GERs can count towards your minor, like I said, so if you choose the right classes, it's possible. i know people that double major in the b school and college, so there's a way to get there. There are prebusiness advisors that know a lot more about this than me. I would talk to them. I'm sure their office email address is online somewhere. This is a pretty common question. AP credits will make life a lot easier for you, too.

do A level results give credits?

yes, but they are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. there's not a standard for credits given because of a certain grade. you should send in the results as soon as possible after you are admitted so that you can see which classes they will give you credit for.

Thanks that was very informative
