I'm doing the fourth transfer orientation and it seems very unlikely that the classes I want to take in the fall (Econ 101 and Math 170A) will be open by the time I register. Math and/or Econ majors, is there a particular elective you liked? Thanks in advance.

I think you need to take Econ 11 at UCLA before you can take Econ 101 anyway. If you have, check out the registrar, there are some upper div econ classes that only have 11 as a pre-req. Most have 101 and 102 as pre-reqs though.

I’m taking Econ 11 this summer, session C.

Math 110AH will be open

Will 115A or AH be open? That’s a class I actually need, I was just wanting to save it for after my first quarter.

Looks like there’s plenty of spots still available in 115A, but AH will definitely be open, as will 131AH.

The 115AH prof is rated easier than the 115A prof on Bruinwalk, although “The Staff” might be easier than both.

I can’t find any good-looking econ electives that only require 11, guess I’ll just have to cross my fingers for 101, or beg an advisor to let me into 103 (since I’ll be taking math 170A this fall too, if it stays open)
