Got A D 66% in Ap Calculus

I am a Junior and I just recently got a D in Ap Cal and I had a 4.2 and all the grades for this semester are A’s will UCs accept the D I got in Cal

  1. If you do not repeat the course, your D will be included in your UC GPA which will impact your chances at some of the top UC’s, yes.

  2. If you repeat the course, the repeat grade will be included in your UC GPA but you still need to report the D but your GPA will be intact.

  3. If do not retake, you can still validate your D by getting a C or higher next semester or taking a higher level AP class, but your D will still impact your GPA.

UC’s use only 10-11th grades in their GPA calculation so it important to have competitive grades these 2 years.

Bottom line, if you are aiming for UCB, you will need to retake the course and get an A.
