Got accepted into UC Davis but chances I might fail a class

I got accepted into UC Davis for fall 2017 as a managerial economics major. I’m take 14 units this spring which total up to 60 semester units and fulfills the UC Requirement. But I might get a D in math class which is 5 units in spring 2017. Now I’m worried that if I get a D, I will be left with only 55 units. But the thing is that this class is not a UC transfer requirement! I am so worried and don’t know what to do. Do you guys think, UC Davis will still let me continue my admission or will they recind it?

The people that can give authoritative answers are in Davis admissions. You should be talking with them. It isn’t as if you’re tipping them off, otherwise they would never know about it.

My understanding is that even if the class is not specifically a transfer requirement you still need 60 transferable units in order to enter UC. If you don’t have the 60 units then you are probably not eligible for admission.

I believe D grades still transfer units, you just don’t get subject credit. You really really need to tell the UC so they can tell you best options.

to expand on this a bit, suppose the 60 units limit is strictly enforced. Are you out of luck? Maybe not.

Usually the UCs require the 60 units by the end of spring semester but they can change the requirement to the end of summer session. They don’t have to, and maybe they won’t for you. But you’ll never know unless you talk with them.

^^^ exactly.
