I know this is kind of silly... but I'm so excited about USC. I got a call from a student and they sent me a card with a hand written note. I'm hoping this is a good sign that they are going to accept me. Surely they don't send them to everyone?

I got a phone call from a student too reminding me to apply for the December 1st deadline to be considered for scholarship opportunities. Granted, my stats aren’t exactly scholarship material though. I think the phone calls have something to do with having filled out the part 1 web app, or at least I’ve heard from my college guidance counselor.

Well, I’m applying for Engineering, so I got a few notes from Viterbi students. Apparently they have a “Viterbi Ambassadors” program or something like that.

hate to burst your bubble, but that isnt a sure sign of acceptance. usc is a classy university and often displays this through handwritten notes and phone calls. its just part of their charm.

^^haha yeah I got a handwritten postcard after I went on a tour … saying good luck in the admissions, nice to see you, if you have any questions and so forth…
