Hi all! I received a handwritten note thanking me for interviewing with Marshall a couple of days ago. Is this a good sign or something that they do for everyone that interviewed?

My son got a handwritten note from the young lady who led our campus tour (this was just an ordinary campus visit last fall, nothing related to a merit scholarship interview).

Made a great impression of USC on both of us. But I don’t think it necessarily “means anything,” except that USC is a class act.

I got one too! @Sweetbeet thanks for the info! I have to admit that I’m a bit disappointed, but I guess we’ll all find out soon. My interviewers all signed it if that means anything?

That sounds exactly like the one I got, what did you interview for? Anyone else that got one?

Got mine today. Think they’re just being extra polite, though…

was this just for marshall ?

@actstudent I don’t think so; I’m in Dornsife. It’s most likely up to each interviewer.

@Lilliana, hoping that it’s a good sign! Was yours very vague? Mine just thanked me for interviewing for a merit scholarship. :(

@dragonflymusic Not vague, just short/sweet/to the point. Just saying how they looked forward to having me at USC + how they’d like talking to me about my interests/etc. in the future. :)

Hey Guys, USC has a very good habit of writing thanking you notes for all kinds of things including most visits and tours, not just scholarship interviews. Don’t over analyze this, they just have great manners.

@CADREAMIN That’s what I thought lol
