Man little depressed I applied to 5 UCs and so far I got rejected from 2 and no acceptance so far.
UC Davis - REJECTED
UC SAN DIEGO - REJECTED
UCLA - still waiting
UCSB - still waiting
UCI - still waiting

Good luck.
If you were rejected from UCD and UCSD, UCLA will be really hard to make it into. I hope you to though!

Same here^^^

I wish you good luck. I'm in a similar situation right here. I applied to six schools (UCLA,UCB,UCSD,UCI,UCSB,and USC). I haven't gotten any acceptance notifications yet but I just found out that I was rejected from UCSD. Its so funny cuz all this time that I was worrying and telling ppl that I might not get into UCSD, they just laugh at me and say that of course I'll get in since my sister goes there (freshmen this year). Well I guess I proved them wrong, but in a bad way....

the rejection from uc davis hurt the most since it feels like if ur rejected from uc davis u have a good chance of getting rejected from all the ucs

What other schools did you apply to TPhilip?

I heard that UC Davis was really weird this year with their acceptance. So don't be too hurt by them. I've heard many friends who are more than qualified to get into UCD and got rejected.

Yeah I heard that too!

its listed above, but i applied to UC irvine, UC santa barbara, and UCLA. UCla is automatically rejection im assuming

Oh....you didn't say those were the only schools you applied for. : /

What will you do if you don't make it into any? (Not saying you won't make it anywhere, you probably will)

oh i also applied to sdsu got in already and considering community college. Ill cry if i go to community college though. I'm hoping that I will get into Irvine.

I hope you make it in too!

I wish we could both get into UCI.... UCSB is my last option, but from the looks of it now, I'll be happy w/ UCI... good luck!

My cousin applied to UCSB, and it is his favorite.
....but he doesn't think he'll make it.

Good luck!

Plenty of folks who get rejected by UCD and UCSD still make it in to UCI. You will find out any minute! Also, keep in mind that if the UC yield falters, they may send out some very late acceptances. They are limiting their admissions this year due to uncertainty about their budget and how the economy will impact who decides to accept admission offers, but if they have room, they will certainly look for more students. Good luck!

My friend said that this one girl in his class (ranked 3rd or something) got rejected from UCD, but got into UCSD. He says that the UC system allows the UCs to see the other UC schools that the applicant is applying to, so a school can see if it is getting "safety-ed." (his words :))

yeah but if that system is really true, then that would suck if the student got rejected from their ideal school for whatever the reason is and also rejected from their "safety-ed" school because that school thought that they're not the student's first choice.

I'm in the same boat as you, except I didn't apply to UCSB. Good luck!
