is it possible to get in uva with a 3.7??? -.-

yes, very possible.

Is that weighted or unweighted? In state or out of state?

weighted, in state. but im only taking 1 ap, should i take more during senior year?

yes, you should be taking more AP classes. I think a 3.7 weighted makes UVa a reach for you.

acceptance is unlikely, IMO.

Class rank is always more important than GPA.

But, honestly, a 3.7 weighted doesn't make you sound as if you're in the top ten percentile.

aw, do you guys know any other decent colleges in VA?

other decent colleges? you need to be more specific about your stats. what's your unweighted gpa? what's your SAT score? do you have any significant extracurriculars?

uw3.66, haven't taken the SAT yet, i want to go to a science-ish type school :D
ec - badmington, volleyball, martial arts

College of William and Mary
Virginia Tech
James Madison
Marymount
George Mason

The four best schools in VA are UVA, William and Mary, Washington and Lee, and the University of Richmond. Personally, if UVA didn't exist, I would not have gone to school in VA.

there are lots of "decent" schools in VA

jaek99 already gave you a good list... though if his (?) list goes all the way to Marymount, I would include Mary Washington, Longwood, VCU, ODU, and CNU as well. I think you would have a fair shot at VT, especially if you take a few more APs next year.

It would be a reach, but you'd still be in contention as an in-state applicant.

if you are in-state and really really want to go to UVA consider attending community college and applying as a transfer student after your sophmore year.
