SAT PROMPT: Should people change their behavior depending on the situation they are in?

Words alone cannot express the despicable extent to which people often camouflage their true intentions and change their behavior in accordance with the vicissitudes of life in order to preserve their own self-interests. One should not, however, fall prey to the misconception that such a two-faced, self-preservationist attitude ultimately serves the greater good or brings greater benefits to oneself over the long haul. People should firmly adhere to one mode of behavior that is consistent with ones morals rather than kowtow to that which is expedient and self-serving, even when circumstances dictate otherwise, because what is right is always right.
