For my first year of community college I was working on an aerospace engineering transfer. I got only As and Bs on my report card for the whole year, including the two summer classes I took. Then half way through my first semester of my second year I changed my major from aerospace engineering (liberal arts: math and science) to business administration. I dropped the physics and chemistry classes I didn’t need anymore since I already completed my physical science and physical science with lab requirements (obviously you wouldn’t need either for a business major). I had calculus too which was a requirement, however, I dropped the class due to low grades and no light for even a B. All I had left was history which was a ge and I got a B in that class. My second semester i retook calc 1, I took accounting, and English. I have a C in all three classes. This is by far my worst semester yet. I’m probably and hopefully getting a B in English when the semester ends, however, I believe I’m gonna end up with a C in calc 1 and accounting leaving me with one B and a two Cs. These are my first Cs on my community college career. Will UCs overlook me? I know how competitive business is and I’m worried I won’t get accepted to a UC for getting two Cs in a semester. What do you guys think? Thanks for reading and for the help, much appreciated!
This link should give you an idea of what GPA to strive for at your CC to transfer into the UC’s.

Calc is usually a requirement for business. Maybe you need a semester off to regroup. Unfortunately, Cs are permanent on your transcript and you’ve made a downward turn. You need to figure out why that happened. Maybe you’re burned out or unsure of your path. Some time off might help. Good luck. ?
It seems to me that Business maybe is not your strength as much as Physics.
