Grading Scale Question

Quick question for all you parents out there, I thought some of you might be able to help me out. My DD is a junior and we've recently moved back to the east coast and put her into a public school. The county's (Williamsburg James City County Schools) grading system is reported as:
A 100-90
B 89-80
C 79-70
D 69-60
F Below 50

However, on the online grading system for the school where her teacher's post grades (Edline) it follows an A, A-, B+, B etc. system. Should we abide by the school's grading system or the county's? I'm more inclined to think county but I can't be sure. The school and her counselor haven't really been on much help.

Help please?

No one can tell you for sure unless they are in the same high school or school district as you. But just as an example, in my high school, we could get ± grades on our report cards, but only the letter grade would show up on our transcript and matter for ranking.

The school should be calculating her GPA so whatever the transcript says is what her GPA is.

@warbrain I feel that may be the case.

Thank you for the help everyone
