Why would I?
If you take the time to scroll through all of the posts on this thread, you’ll see that I posted here long before you decided to. This is one of several threads that I check often, no need to be paranoid.

As I stated before, I don’t know how to quote.
But you seem to quote a lot!

And please… this is getting really absurd. Who cares if you posted here long before I decided to?
And actually, I posted first. You can check again.
But does that guarantee our admission? I don’t think so.

Just omit the period.

I made that statement in response to your implication that I was “following your posts”. Do you notice the irony/hypocrisy in your second and third sentences?

^ Maybe he was just (indirectly) answering his question. :)

Ah, perhaps I was too quick to judge.

@ etondad: I think I (and many other posters around here) may know your son! I believe he is fondly known as TheYankInLondon on these forums. :)

Jersey13, lebron, why do both of you always argue?
@fledgling: really?

I don’t think too many posters would exaggerate…maybe it’s just because my username is Honesto, but I think people are usually honest on websites like these, right? There’s no point in sugarcoating who you are here.

@ Jersey13:
Yes, I was trying to answer your question.
But it seems like you got me there.

Yes. Now that I read it.

Quoting is fun!:
Let me quote myself:

Yes, I was.

Well, we don’t really know each other, but I hope we both get accepted to a same university.
Adcoms want to have a “well-rounded” student body rather than a “well-rounded” student.
So we will be constantly in debates, but hey! That will be an awesome experience.
We each represent two schools of thought, and we are unique in our own ways.

salivating at the prospect of majoring in the Social Studies program. would really appreciate any advice from current students.

2015 hopefuls, represent!

Here we are, the Harvard Hopefuls.
welcome lol.

Hey malthus, I am also applying for Social Sciences.
Which one specifically are you planning to major on? If I may ask.

Question: would Linguistics be classified under “humanities” or “social sciences”? I’ve actually recently decided that I want to make that my major… since it’s the scientific study of human language, I’m thinking it should be a social science. What do you think?

Humanities

Actually he is NOT The YankIn London although their profiles are in someways similar (and also not --as my wife and I are not divorced and living on separate continents…). Also, according to my son (who personal messaged him) he goes to a public school IN London, not --as my screen-name suggests-Eton.

^Oh. I was surprised.

lebron and fledgling: Hi fellow social sciences and humanities. Include me. :)
