Has anyone predicted the Texas cuttoff for class of 2015? (219 last year)

<p>I understand that the commended cuttoff for class of 2015 might have come oout and it is 201. Got that off of the NMS board. If that’s true, then the semifinalist cuttoff for Texas might come in at 215-216 based on previous years. At least that’s what I see.</p>

<p>Most likely 217. There is no way it will get to 215. 216 is a possibility.</p>

2015 Commended 201 -</p>

<p>My guess would be 218, 217 at the lowest, might even stay the same (219). Texas has had more tech savvy folks move here bringing more high scoring kids to the state. If I were forced to pick. I’d say 218 but that’s just a guess.</p>

<p>I found out 47 kids made the commended list at our high school (scored 201 or better). I wonder if I could find out how many made commended last year at our school. If this year was less, maybe that would be more evidence that the semifinalist number will drop from 219.</p>
