<p>How beneficial is AMSCO for studying for US History? I learn very very little in class and don't read my American Pageant at all! Will reading through AMSCO once, then another time give me a 4 or 5, respectively?</p>

<p>From what I've read on this board, AMSCO is one of the best USH prep books. That definite enough for you?</p>
<p>Both AMSCO and American Pageant are good enough for AP preparation. American Pageant explains concepts in more details which sometimes are extraneous. AMSCO explains some terms more clearly and it is shorter, but still kinda long for an exam prep book.</p>
<p>Everyone is telling me it's the best prep book. I just want to know if it would be realistic to assume that if i read through it twice i can get a 4 or 5 on the exam. I already have the book, i just want to know if it will be enough.</p>
