can anyone share their experience with these dorms????/

I am a rising sophomore, and I spent last year living in AMR II. It was pretty darn awesome. Although the living quarters are pretty old, the social aspect of it is SO WORTH IT. The people you meet around you will most likely be your closest friends for the rest of your time at Hopkins.

A slightly different perspective: I lived in AMR I and it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Yes, the floor bathrooms are not good but it is a quite social dorm. You become pretty close with the people you live with, although I can’t say that they were/are my closest friends at Hopkins.

You’ll definitely love the social life of the AMR’s simply because the configuration of the building. I think they are all double rooms. You’ll have a blast!

excellent, Thanks for all the information!

imo, the floor bathrooms were excellent. There was never a time when I had to wait to shower or use the bathroom, and they were cleaned EVERY DAY. I HATE cleaning bathrooms, so this was a plus. You never had to buy toilet paper too.
