I took the ACT last october, my sophomore year and got a 30. My subscores were english-28, math-26, reading-32, and science-30. I just took it in february this year and got only a 29 with subscores of english-28, math-25, reading-32, and science-25. I was really hoping to get my original 30 up..definitely not down. Is getting my score up hopeless? I did not prep for either of these so how can I prepare for my next one, probably summer, so I can get this up? I have The Real ACT Prep Guide, any other recommendations?

The answer is in your hands buddy, use the ACT prep guide and study it! You’re not hopeless just use your resources.

Definitely prep a bit. These things happen quite frequently. Without prepping between sittings, it’s common to go up or down a few points.

The biggest thing you can do to prepare is to take lots of practice tests and identify the things you miss most. Then focus especially on those.

Prep, take practice tests, and be confident.

BTW, I’m tired of this guy luis333trapset spamming his website/youtube video.
