Wow the list is longer than under the old curriculum. What are you interested in? If the classes can count in more than one place then some of the English classes look good especially if you like mystery and crime which seems to be a theme for lots of the classes. If you need a literature class and these can count in that category also that would be good use of time.

D took Musc 110 and liked it ok…(she really didn’t need it as it turns out) but it was easy based on the fact that she played piano and oboe and it very familiar with classical music and has a good ear. Does anything on this list particularly fit in with major? Or you can just wait and do fine arts later…

Music 140 and Theatre 170 are both classes that my friends in non-arts fields enjoyed.

Music 140 is Jazz History and Theatre 170 is acting.

It depends on what you like. Did you look into German 290? Or just the Classics Mythology?

Most students take the typical appreciation classes. Music 110, Theatre 200, and Dance 101. They’re not hard, but if you don’t enjoy those subjects it might not be the best choice.
