Help please, kind of urgent

At the beginning of the semester I decided to take an extra class at a CC because my school wouldn't let me take the number of credits that I wanted. But today I found out that I don't need that class at the CC and I'd like to drop it, but the CC told me that it would go on as W instead of not being on my record. And I already withdrew from a class last semester and I don't want to have that many wd's on my transcript. My question is, do I even have to tell anybody about that class when I send my transcripts in. Since I only went to that CC for one course. Would I even have to send in that transcript? If I don't could it ever come back to hurt me.

I really need to know soon before the withdrawl period is over

a couple W's won't hurt

Hmm...you could decide not to send the transcript. Still, I would err on the side of safety and opt for the W...that's insane that you can't drop the class this early without receiving a W. But I agree with lost - 2 W's is ok. 3+ is kinda when I would worry.

But is there really a point in sending in a transcript that's worth no credits?

if you don't, it constitutes as lying

I would send in the transcript...and maybe attach a brief letter about why you "withdrew" from the class so they understand the reason behind it.

Yep, +1 to sending the transcripts in. Why let something like that jeopardize your admissions later down the line?

Hell, I have 6 W's, although 3 were from non-transferable courses.
