ok so it says SAT must be copied off a official transcript but my school has it on my thing and it is official and signed by counselor is this ok? Im not spending 50 dollars to get it rushed to the senators!

You can doublecheck with the assistant in the senator's office, but generally the SAT data must come directly from the College Board. Do exactly what they ask.

Your school sends an official transcript, which should have a record of your SAT and ACT scores sent by College Board on an official sticker which is affixed to the transcript.

Find out if the scores, on an official transcript sent directly by your school will suffice. They were accepted by our MOC when my son applied.
CM

Send a note to the Members of Congress - pointing out that your SAT scores are on your transcript and send along with your note a copy of the score report you received - that way they can see that the scores match. Also mention that you're trying to save money.
My son's school actually made a mistake on his transcript and gave him an extra 60 points on his Verbal score - we also sent the official report from the College Board so it was no big deal.

Yeah I would except that i dont have the official CB report =(

"Your school sends an official transcript, which should have a record of your SAT and ACT scores sent by College Board on an official sticker which is affixed to the transcript."

Yes thats it! My dad seems to think they will accept it from my schools transcript but Im scared oh and I did write that on the cover of the envelope that SAT scores are included

WoW -- I can tell from your post that you already know this (and don't want to pay rush charges!) but for those on CC planning for next year, be aware that you can have the scores sent to your MOC directly from collegeboard.com, at the time of registration or for a small fee ($9?) afterward. In the same way that you would search for a school to send scores to, you search on your congressperson's name -- they all have a code just like colleges do. The scores will be sent directly and you'll get a confirmation by mail. And don't worry if the MOC changes during the election or if the College Board database hasn't been updated with a new name after the election. This happened one year for us. The code transfers to the new MOC and scores get sent correctly.

LMAO! Every one of my MOC's names were wrong, in fact, one of the names used is a guy that isn't alive anymore.

Go figure.

oiixxg I wouldve sent em for free but i took the SAT last year but yeah im sure theyll accept the scores thanks for ur help guys
