Hi, My S applied for University of Alabama today and paid the application fee. He said that the application only asked generic questions such as birth date state of residency, etc. When will he have to submit transcripts and test scores? Will Bama send some ID that he can use to further complete his application? Thank you!

I applied to the University of Alabama this summer (and just got my acceptance last week!), and yes, the online application is very generic. I also had my GC send my transcript to UA, and I had my SAT scores sent as well, before I was accepted. They need these before you can be accepted. I also received an email after I submitted the online app that allowed me to set up a Mybama account. Through this, you can track your admission progress, start on your scholarship app, and once accepted, access the honors app. Hope this helps!

Thank you for the response:) ! When should I expect an email with the myBama information? I have received an email but it only contains a receipt for the application payment. Thank you so much for your help !!!

You are very welcome I went and looked at the emails I received, and I was sent the receipt on Jul 1st, and got the second email on Jul 3rd…So I would guess you’ll hear in the next couple days…Here is the second email actually, with my info starred out:
