I really cannot decide between Pardee, Fluor, and Parkside A&H! I really like the suite style (mostly cause of the whole bathroom issue), but I know that they can be isolated from the center of campus.

I'm majoring in Comp Sci (games) and I love socializing, meeting new people, but I generally don't party or drink. I really want a nice freshman experience so I can meet new people and not struggle at USC.

You’ll do plenty of socializing outside of where you live. Especially if you join a club, participate in IM sports, etc. Of all the places you listed, I would pick Fluor. Sure you’re far from McCarthy quad, but that just means you are closer to other things. And really you aren’t that far anyways. If you want to meet new people and get a wide variety of experiences, then going out and doing things is going to be far more beneficial than sitting in your room/suite and waiting for people to drop by.

Hey, I also need some help with housing.

I chose the apartments because I really like to cook. I like to maintain a balance between social life and studying. I like partying and getting good grades.

I am choosing between Webb Tower and Parkside Apartments now, can someone help me?
Which one is newer and nicer?

Quick answer: Webb is newer, nicer, and the majority of residents are freshman (sophomores on top floors). There is also AC at Webb.

Thank you so much, so how do you think Parkside and Cardinal Gardens compare? Cardinal Gardens is off campus, so will it be unsafe?

How are the single flour tower dorms? know they are super hard to get into, but I have my own room and bathroom. Do they have a kitchen? I know the 8 people suites have a kitchen, but does the single rooms have a community kitchen?

CarGar is barely off campus. Anywhere north is campus is quite safe, since that’s where a majority of the students live. Parkside has no kitchen. Parkside apartments do however. CarGar apartments are bigger than anywhere on campus. Webb is still your best choice though. Fluor singles do not have a kitchen I believe.
