Help?

I'm a high school student who pretty much has no choice but to do full dual-enrollment. I don't have much help with my scheduling, so I was wondering if you guys would tell me if my schedule is doable. I'm considering Philosophy of Science but I'm not sure. I'm unable to take humanities courses at my community college and those I am taking are online with another college...which only offers like 5 courses. Thanks!

Here's my proposed schedule (I've substituted my 2 APs Junior year for the college classes I'm using them to get credit for):

Summer 2009

Earth/Environmental Science Honors (Online)
English III Honors (Online)

Junior Year

Biology Honors
CHM 151: General Chemistry I
ENG 111: Expository Writing (Online)
HIS 131: American History I (Online)

CHM 152: General Chemistry II
Civics and Economics Honors (Online)
ENG 113: Literature-Based Research (Online)
HIS 132: American History II (Online)
MAT 272: Calculus II

Summer 2010

English IV Honors (Online)
Psychology Honors (Online)

Senior Year

BIO 111: General Biology I
CIS 110: Introduction to Computers (Online)
MAT 273: Calculus III

Wow.

<><><>

You’re in high school and doing all these collegiate courses? I’m confused!?

My high school doesn’t offer like anything, I can’t transfer to anywhere that’s better… I can’t graduate early because of my sophomore year, and I can only take math/science courses at my community college. That’s what leads to the above.

are you interested in the sciences?

Um… holy crap… lol…

anyway its easy to see that your starting at calc1, which most likely means you havent taken any calc before…seeing as how you plan to go to highest math CC offers… yet you dont know if you’ll take to it well.

Actually I took AP Calculus BC online sophomore year. It looked interesting but the course was missing like 75% of the material so I didn’t pass the AP exam. My school doesn’t even offer Pre-cal so I took it online freshman year and made a 99.

Yes, although I really don’t have a choice about it; I can only pretty much take science/math courses.

That bad? :frowning:
I also took AP Physics B sophomore year… but with the same story as AP Calculus BC. It’s not that I didn’t like physics, it’s just the material was not there. If I decide I really like Chemistry I’ll probably take Organic Chemistry and Honors Physics instead of General Physics and differential equations but I feel like General Physics and Differential Equations would leave me better prepared for any of the sciences.

Should I just take easier courses and graduate early? There aren’t enough courses for me to stay 2 more years unless it’s pretty much the above.

So I guess the general consensus is that I’m out of my mind? :(
