Hi, just wondering if anyone has any further information on Henderson House? Anything I’ve seen on here is a few years old. I’ve seen the floor plans and know the concept, I guess I just want to know how it is to live there. Pretty sure I’m going to choose Henderson, I’d just like to know a bit more about it.
First things first, it has only 18 rooms for freshmen this year (I asked the HA). So, chances of getting into Henderson are slim. Also, remember that there’s an application essay.
–In Henderson, you will have OPTIONAL wellness lectures on spirituality and stuff.
–Alcohol and Drugs are banned in the dorm irrespective of age.
–You will also have sophomores/juniors living in the dorm.
–There are Prime rooms.
–Henderson has AC.
That’s all I know.
It’s a nice place to live in (AC+Prime combination is rare for freshmen). But, at the same time, not everyone who wants it gets it.
Thanks determine2300. So it’s 18 rooms for freshman, or 18 freshman spots total? I thought they usually did the first floor doubles all freshman, which would be 9 rooms. I was ED 1, and put in my deposit very early so I should have a very good chance of getting into whichever dorm I choose. Is the selection for Henderson based primarily off of the essay or deposit date?
