<p>I started last week but my homecoming’s in October. Gives me time to scope out potential dates :D</p>

<p>Our homecoming is in October also. I don’t think I’m going to go though. I didn’t go last year because of a family thing and it really seems like a hassle and a waste of time and money. Not to mention that I don’t like to dance or grind as it’s done here at all.</p>
<p>I don’t mean the dance. I mean the special events/themes during the week, decorating hallways, parade, and pep rallies.</p>

<p>I get out at the end of May. My fall, winter, and spring breaks are all over two weeks.</p>

<p>Swinter if you don’t mind me asking, how has the workload been like in comparison to Freshman year?</p>
<p>The work load actually isn’t too bad, but the stuff I’m learning is definitely harder. So I’m taking longer to do the work. Plus it’s only been a week so I haven’t had too much work yet. I predict much more work in the coming weeks. But in any case, I brought it on myself since I’m the one who chose to take four AP/IB classes.</p>
<p>Homecoming for us is a lot later than usual. It’s now the first weekend of October instead of Mid- September. I’m really excited because the drama department does one act plays for homecoming week which I plan to participate in. I also bought my dress for the dance like 2 weeks ago because I plan ahead too much :)</p>
<p>AP US is starting to scare me… I’m very intimidated by the teacher and I really hope I don’t fail lol</p>
<p>The one thing I always freak out about is if another girl will have the same dress as me. But I don’t ever want to buy one online since I always wanna try on my clothes before purchasing them. At my freshman year homecoming, another girl actually did have the same dress as me. I wore it better though 
The good thing is that most girls at my school buy their dresses at either Forever 21 or Windsor, while I usually buy mine elsewhere. And the one I’m planning to wear this year was bought in May (and worn by my sister at her eighth grade formal, haha) so I doubt any girls will have it.</p>

<p>@swinter Yes I love when everyone has their really overly embellished Windsor dresses. I was guilty of having my homecoming dress last year from Windsor, but I literally decided to go 5 days before the dance and just reused the same overly sequined dress from 8th grade formal. I got mine from TJ Maxx this time, which was where I got my “Turnabout” dress too (My show choir was competing that day so we had a dance at the competition). It’s so gorgeous I can’t wait to wear it!</p>
<p>Lol I didn’t even go to homecoming, might this year though (I hate dresses, you’ll never see me in one for no good reason)…</p>
<p>Aside from that, can any of you help me? I’m taking four ap classes (perhaps 5?) and I’m quite worried.</p>

<p>The reason I’m worried is that I have a very ‘weird’ schedule. I am more than 100% sure I am the only sophomore in my school with this many ap classes and I am quite active in extracurriculars. (Maintained 4.0 unweighted and was in academic team, science bowl, model un, outdoor track & field, envirothon and Muslim student association)</p>
<p>Also, I want to take ap nsl online because I got a 100% in government honors and apparently its an easy ap class (more so taken the prerequisite already). </p>
<p>Also, do you recommend spacing out 3 ap classes per semester? Like switching up ap euro with biology? </p>
<p>And, I’m not very good with Spanish, managed to get a 91% average in Spanish 4 (although our teacher didn’t teach us anything besides listening)</p>
