It’s pretty great as far as light microscopes go, but if you want to make slides, you’ll have to snatch a few transfer pipettes from your science teacher, lol.

I had an awesome microscope, but I think my dad threw it away.
Wut
Imagine that face that anime characters make when they hear bad news. That was my face just now.
I also had a telescope that was thrown away lol.
Right now I am making drastic changes to my four year plan. I am excited for the years to come
I have to study for a test and a math competition, write notecards, and do a 7 page packet with a concept map.
I just downloaded a Chrome web app that is a piano with fart noises.
Help.
Nice, you shall conquer all with a fart piano
I don’t even have a 4-year plan. But if I did it would consist of only Netflix and sleeping
I had a 4-year plan since February of last year, lol.
Same, but interests change and you cannot always fall back on plans.
Yeah, I have a plan too, but I am constantly updating it and now I am missing like three classes for my senior year lol
I have one slot to fill for junior year, but I am pretty sure that I know what I am gonna take. Btw, if you are wondering, I am choosing between doing Calculus III at my local CC, or AP Computer Science haha
Calculus. Definitely.
@awesomepolyglot Why calculus? Although some like the rigor, but if you do not enjoy it, why keep studying it? I have been noticing that about myself and others a lot lately. We take subjects, extra subjects, to look good for colleges. Majority of the classes I plan to take, are forced by my school, or I would have been in pre-AICE Physics right now -_- You guys should start asking yourselves that, would I enjoy it? Would it be something I use later in life? Would it be a useful and insightful class? I aspire to become a mathematician, and if that is not his dream, or something of that nature, then why should he take it?
Lol everything on my plan is something that I enjoy. I love math, so I expect that trend to follow.
@ShatteredEyes I said calculus because my understanding is that @IrrationalPepsi loves math.
Anyway, do any of you overachievers have a list of colleges you’re interested in?
Rice
MIT
UChicago
Caltech
UMich
Rose-Hulman
Case Western
Rhodes College (double legacy lol)
UTK
Vandy (great campus, close to home)
Virginia Tech
UVA
idk probably more
roughly in that order.
It really tears me up that Rice has binding ED, while MIT and UChicago don’t. I wish I could apply to all 3 ED/EA and be done with it… sadness
I understand that, but that did not answer my question. Well, I feel that my question is full of what if’s, and is not clear enough. So, let me explain. From my perspective, AICE Further Math, or AICE Computer Science? Both are equally rigorous classes that has had my full attention since I learned that they existed, if AP Computer Science and Calculus 3 both interests you, why not attempt to make time to do both?
Eh, I will go to the college that gives me the most scholarships. I am done with that ivy league bs that I thought was for me, I will still apply to the two my heart wants to go to the most, MIT and Princeton, but I have decided to only apply to about 6 colleges. Leaving only those two as my reach schools. Oh, my teacher told us that, in reality, what will you do after you get into the school you really want to go to, but you can not afford to go to the school. Just trying to spread the word and truth of open mindedness when it comes to academics and further learning. I know majority of you do not read what I type at all, and if you do, completely dismisses it like I am an average person, with average goals, unlike you guys, obviously (note the sarcasm). I just learned, and came to the realization, that doing the most to get into a college everyone says is an honor to get into, is not the best for everyone. Picking a college because of the name, is completely and utterly idiotic, unless you want to go there because of the program the school offers.
So for all of you “over-achievers,” prepare for reality to push you into a nomadic state of madness quickly. Just saying.
I remember in 8th grade when I though I could make it to harvard…lol. Then, recently I found out that for every five on the AP exams they only give you 1 credit (or less). I am much better off going to a more local school like the university of Maryland or something. Btw I really haven’t done all that much college research.
