firewalker: In my experience, yes. Of course its not universal but its very true for my high school and my university. Things at NYU are certainly different.

From my experience, sorority girls act just like a bunch of stuck-up high girls.

Or, you know, girls and guys can be friends without wanting to hook up.

Also, interestingly, none of the girls that I've met at my own school are really like that (they make fun of them, though), yet one of my old friends who goes to another school and all the people that she's met are like that (and they think people who aren't are sooo terribly dull). All depends on the campus culture.

Because you go to La La Land University. I swear, BlahDeBlah, you must be really pretty. Only the really pretty girls are this dense.

^ Lol Too True Xdxd

lets just say girls who are not of the majority socioeconomic background are a lot more fun and a lot more down to earth, other than that most american/european girls fit into a mold...which i wont say

And why, pray tell, does sharing my observations about the people that I have met make me "dense"? (Other than the fact that it's me saying it, of course, since you seem to have some sort of personal vendetta against me.) You are saying, then, that every college in the country is exactly the same and is comprised of people that act exactly the same way? Why, I was completely unaware! Maybe you should go make a post about it in the college selection forum so you can let everyone know that it doesn't actually matter which one you pick because there aren't any differences between them.

Don't be so angry, BlahDeBlah, he said you were pretty. Isn't that what all girls care about?

Weren't you the one that was saying a few weeks ago that all girls cared about was stealing all your money, so you were going to avoid them forever and ever? Do try to get your stories straight (and brush up a bit on your reading comprehension while you're at it).

Reading comprehension? Since when is that a problem??

I forgot to extend the definition of a girl from "someone that steals money" to "someone that steals money and cares about looking good and teasing guys."

I apologize.

You sound bitter; I'm sorry you've had a bad experience. No wonder, really, with that attitude.

Douches...

More like an experience which opened up my eyes to the truth.

There will always be snobby, immature, self-centered girls. AND boys, for that matter.

i love it when people argue on CC

And pretty girls also think people who disagree with them are out to get them. I said you're dense because it's so convenient that things the guys say you not only disagree, but you get all types of pearl clutching -- acting as if this type of behavior couldn't ever, ever exist.

I don't think every college is exactly the same, but I do think most colleges are very similar. You're the one who self-centeredly thinks everything and everyone is an individual and any similarities are complete coincidences.

Ahh, another post that I have to read 10 times to come to the conclusion that I still have no clue what you're trying to say, other than the obvious that you feel the need to constantly insult me.

I go to a school without a large party culture, therefore I know a lot less people that are your stereotypical partying college student. My friend at a nearby school with a much bigger party culture knows a lot more 'party girls'. Why is that even a statement to take issue with? I don't get it.

Ah come on blahdeblah, I'm not going to side with either side of the argument and I don't have anything against you but your posts exude a sense of superiority and pomp that is kind of annoying. Just pointing it out.

It kinda reminds me of the arguments I used to have with my friends in first grade or so, which would invariably end with one person saying, "Yeah, well I'm not your friend anymore!" and then the other person would reply, "Yeah, well I'm not YOUR friend either!" Then you wouldn't speak to each other for the rest of the day, but you'd totally forget about it when you go back to school the next morning...and do it all over again.

Hmm..."pomp" might be from the fact that I was reading Shakespeare all day and I tend to pick up the writing style of something if I read it long enough. If you want "superiority" you'll have to look at jaso9n2, though, because he's never ever wrong and everyone who disagrees with him is clearly a self-centered stupid lying idiot, or whatever the insulting word of the day is, especially if that person is female and most especially if that person is me. In fact I bet everything I say is totally wrong. And really, I was totally lying in that previous post of mine! I only went to even-numbered grades and I was mute until the age of 12, plus I'm totally making up the whole idea that small children fight with each other...everyone clearly knows that they don't.
