Have anyone of you missed out on your high school prom or graduation? If so, was it a big deal?

I missed out on the prom. I am not really interested in those types of things.

I did attend my graduation, but I can honestly say I would have been just as fine if I receievd my diploma in the mail.

I only went to prom because it was something fun to do in my craphole town and I got to get all dolled up, not because it was this big meaningful end of an era thing like they make you think.

Graduation was excellent though, although the speeches do get a bit dull after a while. Fortunately the whole thing only lasted about 2 hours. I've heard of some people's lasting 3 or 4! It was pretty great. We got to do the whole cap tossing thing which was neat.

Went to Prom junior year, not Senior year. A couple other girls didn't have dates either and none of us were into the dresses and fancy hair thing anyway, so we found a mini-golf place, went to a fun restaurant, and watched movies all night. Just a girls night.

Never went to the Homecoming dance either, and didn't miss much. HS dances at my school were lame-o.

went to senior prom. It was lame, but whatever. It was the only dance I ever went to in HS, so I guess it was worth it for the experience.

GO TO GRADUATION. It was one of the best days of my life. Sure, cliched speeches and stupid hats, but it's something I'll never forget.

I went to both. Prom was definitely the most fun of all the Hs dances that I went to, but mainly because of the after parties.

Graduation wasn't that big of a deal. Actually, I remember is being quite tedious. What I remember more was the ~4 days of non-stop party hopping. Good times.

i went to a senior prom last year to accompany a girl and all I can say is that the best thing about prom is the after parties.
