Besides a prep book, what would be the best ways to prepare. I've taken AP Eng Lit, but I don't think it's enough. The older writing is pretty dense, so my teacher recommended reading old essays. For a subject like Literature, would be a prep book even be necessary?

If you did well in AP Lit, I wouldn't worry too much. I found them to be very similar. A prep book could help...I don't think it would be essential, but that really depends on how confident you feel.

I haven't gotten my scores yet, so fingers crossed, but I found the lit SAT II to be quite easy after the lit AP. If you run through the practice questions on the College Board site, just to see what the questions are like, you'll probably do fine.
