here’s miness
760 on us hist- 5 on apush
720 on physics- 5 on ap physics b

i dont think so
720 sat ii bio - 4 on apbio

It probably has less to do with the format/content of the two tests than with the quality of the student. A good student who pulls a 5 on the AP will likely pull a 700+ on the subject test simply because he/she is a good student.

Ya I agree. Also, if you are lucky to have good teachers, they will help you get that 700+/5 that you want.

730 US History Subject Test –> 5 AP score –> 84% in class
670 Lit Subject Test –> 5 AP score –> 97% in class

750+ physics, I Know i bombed AP physics B…thats why im not callin

790 Chem, 5 AP Chem

I guess there is some correlation

I think as long as you get a 4, you can generally get a 700+…
I mean, if you know your subject, you should do well

750 on U.S. History Subject Test
4 on U.S. History Ap Test

750 on SAT I Critical Reading, and 700 on SAT I Writing
3 on AP English Language and AP English Lit(its because I never took the time to memorize the names of the literary devices…I still have no idea what a petarchian sonnet is or wat imabic pentameter is).

Probably something…
770 SAT II Bio M
5 on AP Bio test

I got a 770 in bio M and a 5 in the AP test. I also got a 760 in chemistry and a 5 on the AP test

720 in Bio M, 5 on AP Bio
720 in US, 5 on AP US

790 Bio M, 5 AP Bio.
760 Japanese, 5 AP Japanese.

BUT.
670 CHEM, 5 AP Chem

800 on satII ush but only a 4 on the ap test :(

760 on Literature (and 800s on both CR and Writing) but a measly 4 on English Lang. I blame my alcoholic teacher whonever taught us anything and my lackadaisical attitude.

690 on Math II but 4 on Calc BC. I’m in love with my 4.

I got a 770 on the SAT II for U.S. History but only got a 4 on the AP exam (I don’t know if I should rescore or not.)

But I got a 5 on AP Language but got like a 590 on the SAT Lit exam. I’m thinking about getting this rescored but $50 is a lot of money so I might just retake it.

I got a 710 on US and a 5 on the AP.

Yet I got a 4 on Chemistry and a 780 on the SAT II an entire year after I took the course.

Guess it all depends on the test, the subject, and how much you study.

I noticed that many of the 700+ students have received 4’s. My daughter had a 750 on SAT and a 4 on the AP US she was shocked. She thought that the AP US would be 5. She said she felt much better about the AP than the SATII. Has anyone else found this? Oh… she also got 5’s on the other AP’s that she felt less prepared for.

Well the subject tests are entirely multiple choice, and mostly fact/recall based.

AP tests include FRQ’s, and require a different type of critical thinking.

Um, guys…think about this.

Around 65% on AP = 5

Around 65% on Subject Test = 500s.

So it’s hard to make comparisons.
