Homophobic Roommates

But what should favorite ice cream flavor have to do with your friendship?

I was using it as an analogy because I can’t tell someone’s sexual orientation(sterotypes aren’t always true so I don’t think they’re accurate).

Obviously this is a never ending dicussion and my issue isn’t helping the OP so I’m going to see my way out.
Good Luck OP!

So you would ditch a friend because you found out they like chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla? o.O

I would laugh if it wasn’t such a sad topic…

@romani: Maybe they mean something along the lines of stating a political view you’re staunchly against, like your opinion on abortion? It’s still not at all the same thing, because opinions can change, though. o.O

I have friends that are anti-abortion. One of my best friends is a staunch conservative lol. I guess I’ll just never understand ditching someone or judging someone or, in the OP’s case- saying horrible things about someone, because of something that they’re born with that harms no one. It’s just something that personally doesn’t make sense to me. To each their own, but I’m sad that any friendships could ever be severed because of someone telling the truth about their sexuality. That’s all. shrug

OP, I hope you come back and let us know how it’s going. Good luck to you.
