I hear the kids getting accepted into the honors program will get an email tonight - good luck eveyone!
I’m wondering if it’s a higher or lower % of students who receive merit - assuming there is some correlation.

There are actually 650 spots available in the Honors College so statistically it’s probably a lower percentage. However, I know a number of the engineering/computer science kids (who got Trustee/Presidential) didn’t apply for Honors b/c they are concerned about the requirements of honors in addition to their rigorous major… So there may be a better chance for others to get accepted. My understanding, from one of the Purdue officials, is that the merit and Honors selection are two different processes.
