I applied EA to Fordham and was accepted...It's not my first school so i didn't bother to send them my new SAT score...do you think I can still be concidered for the honors program? The score i sent with my app was an 1800 (620CR, 570M, 620W) my CR score went up to a 660 and my writing went to a 630, giving me a 1860.

rh or lc, just wondering? ;-)

Staryeyes-Congrats on improving you scores! However, I think you need something closer to a 2100 to be accepted to the Honors College.

Rose Hill because i'm a business major =)

Oh okay! Thanks though!

Does anyone know if there is a way to check your decision online?

I was told you couldn't check anything online. When I inquired about the honors program last spring they wrote me to say they usually look for scores about 1300, with equal numbers, but you can err with a higher verbal score. I know that their big merit scholarships go to anyone with high 1300's-up. I also saw some leeway in their honor program decisions though, talking to students. Some got in with high 1200 scores (1270 was one) another 1320 said they never asked her. Why is up in the air, but it can be that some turn them down because of the stringent courses and some might of been high in math and not verbal. They told me in an email they take about 25 from each incoming class, so that's not very many.
This was on their site:
Because Honors courses usually take the form of small seminars of no more than fourteen students, enrollment in the program is necessarily limited to around twenty-five students each year. Members of the program are normally expected to maintain a grade average of 3.5. Successful completion of the program entitles the student to the designation in cursu honorum on the diploma and the transcript.
