I was admitted to LSA through Early Action and I recently applied to Honors after an invitation. I also applied to Ross pre-admit, and I have yet to hear from them. I can guess why I didn't get in (my highest composite SAT is 130 points lower than my super-score (2150-2280) and reading is the score that is lacking in the highest composite), because many people said my essay was stellar. However, that is beside the matter.

Though UM is not my top choice - I'm waiting for others from RD - it may be 3rd or 4th if I am admitted to Ross. In the worst case scenario that I'm not admitted to any schools RD or to Ross, I will go to LSA for Economics. What I'm wondering is, how much of a difference is there in terms of jobs and salary between a student who graduated from normal LSA with an Econ degree and one who did the same, but through Honors?

I have a back up plan for this situation, as I am a pretty good student (44/45 IB predicted), so I think I can get into Ross after the first year, but then again, I have no idea how difficult classes are at university.
