I visited last year and stayed in a great small hotel, kinda reminded me of European hotels. Just a few rooms above a restaurant. Had to walk past the restaurant to get to the registration desk. And it really was a desk, not a counter where you check in. It is no longer listed on Wash U's list of 'near hotels'. I think it was in Clayton. Can anyone help with the name? Or if you have suggestions for a visit or if you know how to contact the hotel on the campus. I looked on-line for that and can't seem to find that link either. Thanks.

Thanks, jtslick, I had seen that list but none of those are the ones for which I was looking. Did you happen to see the hotel that was actually on campus?

It's called the Knight Center and it's affiliated with the Olin School for Business:

I think the place you stayed may have been called the Cheshire Inn. It is located in Clayton, not too far from campus.

Nope, that description doesn't sound like the Cheshire Inn - Cheshire is much bigger.
