<p>I think pretty much all my classes i've reg'ed so far have a 1 hour break between them. Is this common? it sure feels different from high school where classes are like 5 minutes apart.</p>
<p>a lot of people only have one or two classes per day. get used to the college lifestyle!!</p>

<p>It doesn't really matter. Mostly, classes are 15 min apart. I try to do that because an hour isn't enough to go back to your dorm or do anything, so 15 min is just enough to get to a room in the same building.</p>
<p>a few of my classes are back to back with 15 min. in between. :(
on their website, nyu claims that 15 min. is more than enough... but i guess we'll see.</p>
<p>I definitely don't think it's enough. 15 minutes? Are you kidding me? If your dorm and class are like 15 blocks apart....seriously you need at least 30 minutes. Set aside like 2 minutes/block when traveling. :D</p>
<p>how far apart are "Tisc" (Tisch?) and "Bobs" ? i will have to travel back and forth between those buildings...</p>

<p>i guess i should have looked at the course times list ahead of time because this morning i panicked when classes started filling up... and thus was too lazy to make sure there was space between classes. also, i was too focused on not having class on fridays to plan out the times. lol...</p>
<p>katsy23: Maybe you'll need 30 min to get to class if you lived at Broome St or something, but you're a freshman. All freshman dorms are really only 15 min away in terms of walking, and the 15 min you're referring to are to go from class to class - and most classes should be right near Washington Square Park. Don't worry :D </p>
<p>Tisch & Bobst are ridiculously close together. Check the building codes on the registrar website to find out what 48CS is, but I'm assuming it's 48 Cooper Union. It's farther than Bobst, but certainly within 15 min of walking.</p>
<p>thanks, youkosiren! oh, so Bobs was really Bobst library. yay for being conveniently located near Tisch! i looked up 48CS, and that turned out to be 48 Cooper Square (is that the same building you were referring to?). it's about 3-4 blocks from Tisch, so i think i would have enough time to travel between them if i walk fast. thanks again!</p>
