<p>sooo how early/late did you all apply for housing? i applied when i turned in my enrollment deposit on april 30th... bad move? how likely is it that i'll get any of my housing choices? anyone know?... i listed AHRC, IRC, Fluor, and Birnkrant in that order...</p>

<p>I sent mine in on March 12. I hope that is early enough to get Birnkrant! My other choices were Pardee Tower, Marks Tower, and Fluor. I wonder when we will get our room assignments. They said "mid-May" which is now.</p>

<p>Mine was briefly posted on the application site yesterday but then disappeared. I was placed in New/North, my first choice! Not sure if all of the decisions are done yet. I applied to two special interest communities so I think that might be why my app was already decided.</p>

<p>argh I can't stand the suspense. When I go on the housing website, it shows my application. It says I have already been assigned a room when I click on room preferences, but when I click on rooms, it says I have not been assigned a room for this term. but it will let me pay the deposit for this room I supposedly don't even have. ugh I'm so anxious. I want Fluor!!</p>

<p>It's because they haven't finished assignments yet. They told me there will be an email going out later on this week about it.</p>
<p>Yeah, they've locked up the "housing preferences" link on my application, but other than that, no other changes. :(</p>
<p>I think my application actually does say my room now that I look at it again. Sort of cryptic though. It says "PTD-807-A2" and doesn't PTD stand for Pardee?????????</p>

<p>"You are not assigned to a room for this term. You can search for one using the options on the left."</p>
<p>mine says "Room Reservation: PTD-511-A2" what can this mean??!! btw i didn't put down pardee as one of my preferences. It went: birnkrant, Marks Tower, College Residence Hall (new), Marks Hall, university residence hall (north). kinda random, I know. Though it seems like madness, there is method in't. haha</p>
<p>PTD stands for Pardee Tower, and you got room 511 (5th floor). I guess your preferences were all taken so they had to put you in there. I'm sure you'll like it though, most of the Pardee residents I knew had no problems with the building.</p>

<p>does it have a 13th floor? lol sorry that's all I can come up with, unless there's 355 rooms on the first floor. Well, I'm happy with my dorm (PTD-511, which I assume means Pardee) even though I didn't put Pardee as one of my choices lol. I've heard numerous times that pretty much all the dorms at USC are good. And I like being on the fifth floor, not too high nor too low. :)</p>
