brittany has low cost triples? i didnt know that....

chicagojen and jkidd how did you find out that you are in triples at rubin, my thing on albert just says housing: rubin $4,005 or something along those lines

4,005 = the rate per semester for a DOUBLE in Rubin. LCT are less. So you're in a double. So am I. sweet deal.

Yeah, my cost for Rubin triple is $2,888 or something. I have no idea how I ended up in a LCT. I'm not too ****ed off, cause its less i'll be paying off of my massive student loan lol.

I got my last choice. Is anyone else as unlucky as I am?

i got my 5th choice, which was 3rd north...my list was the following:
1. rubin
2. hayden
3. brittany
4. u-hall
5. 3rd north
6. weinstein

my thoughts?: it could have been worse

im a transfer and just got my housing as cliff street...

wow you guys were really unlucky. i got my 2nd choice (brittany) i heard they did it as a lotto.... so it was totally random. tree why was rubin your first choice (just curious)

I was going to say the same thing happened to a girl I know, but then I realized you are the girl I know.

We should start a facebook group "3N was my 5th choice"

my first three choices were more or less interchangeable, i think i just wound up putting rubin on the top on a whim, lol, but my last three were a definite order...i wanted weinstein to be last, and i wasn't really a fan of apartment style b/c they're so far from wsp & everything, but we have union square too, so it's not that bad :-D

someone please tell me weinstein isn't as bad as everyone says it is...

when i went on the nyu tour they brought us to weinstein and from what I saw, the room looked like jail cells. They were small, the floors were just plain concrete, and they looked really old.

that's encouraging...

I saw Weinstein during oreintation. The hallways were dreadful but the rooms weren't bad at all. Big windows, lots of light. Don't be discouraged.

Weinstein really wasn't that bad. The lobby area/dining area is really nice, and the rooms are pretty nice too - - - I will admit, the person before me porobably has actually been in Weinstein - - - The halls are DREADFULLY yich

yeah, i was in it during university day, and they brought us up to a room on the 9th floor...it was the tiniest room i've ever seen, and the ceilings were probably like 7 feet high,

but we asked a tall kid on the elevator if he hit his head on the ceilings, and he said, "only on the 9th floor," which led me to believe maybe the rooms on lower floors are better, and they chose to show us one of the worst, idk why

I'm a transfer too, and I got assigned Coral Towers? It wasn't even one of my choices when I filled out the forms... Also I'm a little worried that it's low cost housing because it says $4792 and I don't want to be crammed in there. I requested a single room in a suite. Does anyone know anything about Coral? It's in a good location, 3rd ave and 14th st but I'm not sure about the actual rooms there. Thanks

The NYU Housing livejournal has descriptions of all the rooms in Coral:

Hope that helps!

U Hall! I'm so excited! First choice!

How do you know if you got a double or triple?
