while we wait for anarchy i guess i should spark up a convo. orange are u on facebook??

im ere :-)

I'll be living in sadler (303) this year. Its a good dorm - the dining hall is great, the place has plenty of heat in winter, its near the graveyard (you'll learn what that's for once you get to SU ;-) ), and it is about 5 minutes walk from campus.

Brewster/Boland was renovated a few years back. Its sorta in the ghetto, sorta not. I don't care for it much, because I think it looks terrible. The rooms are also sorta small in my opinion, although the singles are big. Floors are relatively small and probably have around 30 people each. However some rooms really try to cram people in - an open quad, for example.

Haven is alright. Its about 7 minutes walk from campus, and is right next to Kimmel food court (open till 2 or 3 am on weekends - tons of good food (KFC, Taco Bell, Sbarro, small little food mart, stuff like that). Rooms are decent size.

does anyone know how the skyhalls are?

Thanks Anarchy!

man, this is the first thing I've been really excited about. Wish I could get ahold of my roommate (left a message on her machine, dad called back and said she's in peru for a few more days). You guys talked to your roommates yet?

Im in Lawrinson 1403, anarchy do you know anything about lawrinson, other than it too is close to the graveyard?

Brockway 224

3 kids im in the same situation. my roomate isnt on facebook and she didnt answer my email. i guess i should call her.

Lawrinson is also rather crappy looking. Its the tallest building on campus, at about 25 or 26 stories. Floors are small, but rooms are decent size - especially corner doubles. There is a tunnel of sorts that links lawrinson and sadler, so you don't need to walk outside in the dead of winter to go eat. It also has a small bookstore. Problem is that the elevators are slow as hell. Also, we had some really bad storms this year, and one blew out a few windows high up the building. The space between Sadler and Lawrinson is known as the "wind tunnel" because it gets funneled between the buildings, and can even make it quite difficult to walk. I'd recommend that you get there REAL early on movein day, because there isn't really any good drive-up access besides a small loading dock.

I chose my roommate this year - a friend of mine who, unlike anybody else I've ever met, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about :p It's gonna be a rockin year and we can't wait to get back - counting the days down (37 left atm). If you ever hear the music thumping in Sadler, it's probably gonna be us :-) Or if you see DPS hauling out cases of beer and liquor, and two very trashed guys :p

dellplain =)

Looks like I'll be chillen in the ghetto this year. Awesome.
Melo I'm on facebook; search Osman Bhatty.

brockway 209. yay for 27 students in the entire building! haha :D

I'm in Booth Hall 728.....it's a triple with two international students....one is from Hong Kong....and the other only has contact information through The Slutzker Center for International Services......I'm not sure how I feel about this...
