By when do we have to register? Also, which dorm is the best?
Dorms/suites are on a first come, first serve basis. You probably want to register ASAP, especially if you want the option of living in the suites, which are limited in number for freshmen. The four older dorms (Encinitas, Monecito, Aliso, & Alamitos) are popular options, namely the first two listed. Monecito has more honors students, while Encinitas has the advantage of being located closer to the dining commons. Aliso & Alamitos on the other hand are located near the parking lot. The pentagon (newer) dorms Cedritos & Palmitas are harder to fit furniture in because of the odd shape of the rooms.
