jeez noone wants to stay in goddard =/

i have been thinking about what dorm i want to request (i got in ED so i should hopefully get my first choice). does anyone have any pro/cons with Brittany (it's my #1 choice at the moment) but i would also consider hayden. my only issue with hayden is that it's the ED party dorm. i definitely plan on going out alot but i just wouldn't want people in the halls and stuff to distract me if i was studying or trying to sleep.

does anyone have any advice??

i feel that way about hayden too
im really interested in 12th street even though the outside is ugly
augh i wanna see the inside so bad D:

i was kind of worried about that too for hayden.... i think i've basically decided to take that chance and put hayden as my first choice anyway. the way i see it, when people say it's the "party" dorm it may very well be slightly more social than the others, but everyone has to sleep and work at some point, and if it really is the ED dorm, I assume most of them got in to do more that just party, you know?
i've also recently started cooking and i'm enjoying it a LOT... apartment-style is climbing my list.........

we get housing forms at the end of this month, right?

(i CAN'T WAIT.)

I can't find the thread where that one guy was looking for a dorm with a game room(major factor for him)

Because I just found out 3rd North has a game room. With pool(awesome!),arcade games ect...

So yea if your still lurking around... 3rd north has a game room.. lol.

yeah i just got a letter saying we get email in early march and housing forms pretty soon after that. so one more month before decision time. yikes!

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew how big the triples were in Hayden. I know they're not that common but are they really that rare or are there a few on every floor? I've been also wondering if I have a better chance of getting a LCT at Hayden since I got in ED?

Also, how do they compare to Goddard's double room size since thats the only dorm I visited and it seemed kinda cramped?

Thanks.

I saw a LCT in Hayden at Open House, and it really wasn't that nice. I couldn't tell you how big it was though.

Hi-
Ok, so did anyone get their housing packets yet, because we should be getting those soon!

nope, still haven't...
i'm (im)patiently waiting (!!)

lol...it feels like NYU has forgotten us ED students. I haven't heard a thing from them in over a month.

We're getting email accounts and housing info around the end of this week!

Awesome! 3rd north!

i keep trying to log into nyu.edu, haha... i guess we need the extra info and whatnot to do so...
i'm also dying to be able to joing the NYU Network on facebook, but i don't think we can until we actually have an NYU email =(

btp11,

I got interested and I decided to see if I could get on the NYU system from here: https://start2.nyu.edu/ibin/getnetid1.cgi and it worked. It asked me to setup an account but I think i'll just wait till I get the packet later this week.

Thanks chunkie927! now i can get started with all the student visa process :)

haha yeah thanks! it started working yesterday... i already got my email and set up the account and all that jazz x)x)x)

now it's just waiting for the packet...!!

so i'm STILL waiting for that packet/ email with the official housing info... has anyone received it yet?

Nope, I think we'll be receiving the official housing info after April 1st. Like a week or two after that date.

However, I was wondering if anyone knows something about roommate selection?
Do you fill out a questionnaire? Can you suggest a roommate?

ED kids can fill out their housing forms online on March 18th. :)

Yeah you can choose your roommate(s).
