How big a tv do I need? I wanna watch fat albert

Heh...

well I have a 24" and it's awesome. And by awesome I mean amazing.

Mine a 14 inch and that's a good size for my room. It's small, but you really won't have room for much bigger.

Well, I have a 13 inch in my room right now, and it's fine (i don't watch that much tv anyway) but the one we had in the dorm last year was a 20 inch and it was plenty big.

I have a 13 inch as well, and given the size of my single, I doubt I could fit a much larger one there. By contrast, one of my friends in a double, has a 32 inch plasma.

Will my 27 inch be too big?

I have a 42 inch LCD that I also use as a computer monitor.

It doesn't really matter, as long as it isn't a CRT. Those things weigh 300 pounds and take up so much space... If you bring a CRT, it can probably be only 24 inches max.

my room has a 19", but i use a friend's 42 and 50"

If you want to watch Fat Albert, I would suggest a 0" tv. Lol.

32-42" is probably ideal

We have a 42" plasma in our common room. I suggest finding a roommate with a lot of disposable income.

32". That seems to be about average around here. But the daughter of some Polaroid big wig goes here so we got 60 inch plasmas donated and have like 3 of those in the dorm haha.

I have a 27" in my dorm. Its not an LCD either, so it kinda takes up a lot of space. But its worth making space for; t.v. and videogames can be good bonding instruments.

I use my computer. It has a 22" LCD monitor, which works us a TV with the tuner card I have. It is big enough for me.

I have a 20" widescreen flat panel with a built in DVD player for my room...so it's pretty much perfect since it takes up very little space and is plenty big for the space.

I also brought a 20" regular TV for the common room...and I think my roommate's TV in her room is a 20" regular one as well.

My guy friends like to joke about why all the TVs at my place are so small, but they fit the space and are light/small enough for me to move myself so meh.
