and if they didn’t get something, do they give you a chance to resend it?

yes .
ok it won't let me post just one word.

really? my parents are like yo'u're going to be screwed you didn't mail a month before blah blah.. a page goes missing and no unviersity :p

that's what i'm afraid of, i sent all my stuff whiile they were all on break and i havnt gotten any confirmation.

I'm couriering all my Canadian application but I didn't want to risk american colleges rejecting not signing for packages since i'd be sending via a private or canadian courier :s

lol anti-procrastination drastic measures!
a lot of the skuls im applyin 2 give u a code n then u can check the status of ur app as u go along (theyre in canada tho) sum even give u an email account @univname.com n then they send u email on that 2 keep u updated... of course once u choose u dont want that skul ur account closes lol

but i sent mine over break, no one is workling

most colleges will send an email or snail mail letter informing you that they have your application. soon after, they will inform you if anything is missing, of course giving you a chance to send it in (but missing stuff should be recs, transcripts, etc. - not your application portion...)

what if they were unable to recieve a part of your application?

like it was unable to deliver through the mail?

Just because the students are on break doesn't mean the admissions office is. Remember that it takes time to process all of the application materials. If you don't hear from the school with, say, a couple of weeks of the deadline, you could e-mail admissions or call and see if your file is complete.

they're on break till 3rd..

I wouldn't bet on it. My son received a voicemail message from CWRU admissions regarding a piece of his app on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Everyone is really busy this time of year.

oh maybe its school by school but 100% of the schools i'm aplplying to are closed. that includes all my canadian schools. :s

just call them later and ask dont freak out
