How does UT Austin evaluate students from schools that "do not rank"?

My school (public school in Texas) ranks only the top ten percent according to state law. However, because they do not go past the top ten percent in ranking, my transcript says that my school district does not rank. How will this be evaluated by UT Austin?
Any comments or help will be greatly appreciated

Since you’re in TX, they probably have lots of experience reading apps from your school. Thus, they’ll know if your transcript depicts what they want for admitted students. Many HS do not issue ranks these days. Colleges haven’t blinked an eye. It’s their job to read transcripts every day.

That’s what I was thinking as well, thanks for the input!

You might get more answers if you post on the UT Austin board. Also your guidance counselor should be able to give you an answer.
