How easy or hard is it to find a relationship in college?

<p>You probably will think this is a stupid and unimportant question, but I really am curious. I know I am cute/pretty without being arrogant, but not drop dead gorgeous. I think I am pretty easy going, and like to have a good time. I am certainly not the controlling girlfriend, but I don't let guys walk all over me. How hard would it be for a girl like me to find a relationship in college? Or is it all hookups?</p>

<p>It depends on you, the school, the other person, timing. Did you really think there was a way to answer this? </p>

<p>I got into a new relationship, and had plenty of other offers, within a few days of getting out of a very long one (and trust me, I’m not gorgeous by any stretch of the imagination). I know people that can’t find a single date let alone a relationship. And I know plenty of people just looking for hook-ups. And everywhere in between.</p>

<p>well I suppose it depends on one’s definition of ‘hookup’ but I think it’s relatively easy to get into some heavy petting if you and a girl are drunk enough. A relationship is much harder to find as a guy IME.</p>

By instinct guys are more likely to be looking for hook ups…the whole trying to spread your genes into the next generation deal. So come on…relationships in college are hard to find but hooking up is easy for both genders.</p>

<p>Seeing as you’re a girl, it shouldn’t be too difficult at all even if you’re unattractive. As for guys, if you aren’t a former football high school super, then good luck getting into a relationship with even an average or “ugly” girl.</p>

<p>Finding a guy looking for a hookup is a challenge? Lol that’s flat out WRONG. Its easy to find guys who want to just have sex. Very easy. Go to any college party and you’ll find a whole selection of guys. Go to a frat party and just tell them you want to hook up and its done.</p>

<p>^That’s not what mohamed2015 was saying. They meant that there are more girls than guys looking for relationships and more guys than girls looking for hookups. So it’s a challenge for a guy looking for a hookup to find a girl looking for a hookup more so than the other way around. I don’t necessarily fully agree with it, but that’s what they meant.</p>
