I don’t recall how the SSAT rec’s work . . . but if SSAT tells you to send the rec’s directly to them, then do it that way. To the best of my knowledge, SSAT will scan everything you send them (including rec’s) and make an electronic copy available to all the schools you’re applying to. So no need to send multiple copies of anything to SSAT. And if SSAT does require that something be sent directly to them, and you have it sent to the school instead, it tends to confuse things. It’s not the end of the world, by any means . . . just a bit more confusing.

Oh, and, no, even if you don’t have the rec’s sent to SSAT, that won’t interfere with you submitting the rest of your application.

Wait, Deerfield doesn’t seem to have a specific limit on the Personal Essay…well, at least it doesn’t say so. That means we could write however many words we want???

good for you ^ I got writer’s block too. just took a break and watched ten things I love about deerfield. It seemed to work for like 200 words now I’m stuck again

Oh god I’m such a procrastinator . . . No essays. No interviews. Hopefully there will be spots in January. Good thing three of my schools are due in February : ) Now about those aid forms . . . Good lord, no help there. Desperate need of help! Advice on essays? I’m going to work on them all this week and then in January, review and hope they’re good. Anyone care to see over my essay when it’s done. Please don’t steal. CC honor code.

hey rizzle. I suggest you start scheduling interviews now because I started scheduling interviews about 2 weeks ago for january and slots are already filling up
