How hard is it to get into CCS?

<p>Hi. I want to get into the College of Creative Studies for physics in Santa Barbara.
Is it much harder to get accepted in CCS than the general university?
Do they look at my application that I sent to get accepted to the university?</p>

<p>Yes, the Physics program is very competitive.
The application process to CCS is IN ADDITION to your UCSB application so if you are interested in CCS you should turn in a CCS application.
Some of the CCS majors scan the top applicants to the cognate majors and some don’t. I wouldn’t rely on this!</p>
