Hey people!

I was waiting anxiously for the Oct SAT II scores like anybody. Probably because I got a remarkably low score (under 650... use your imagination) for literature and wanted to improve it drastically for my reach schools.

I went through a bunch of threads saying how you can't study for literature and if you are not good at it, you'll never be (or something along the lines like that). It was depressing when I read it but I decided it to take it again since I can't get any lower than what I got the first time.

But somehow, I didn't expect a 120+ improvement.

So I just want to say to those with a low SAT II Literature score that it is possible to do better through practice. What I did was plan my study over period of 2 months with two books, PR and Kaplan Literature. I went through every tests and did every question. I think it is so important to look back at the answers. Some of them, I didn't agree with. As an inspiring English major, I am pretty opinionated about what I read. But you know, in SAT , you don't get points for creativity or originality. I would say put your creative hats to the side and just go with the answers and mold you thinking in that way. Afterwards, you can just forget all about it and return to your old ways.

So those in despair, believe that you can do it!
Good luck!
